We joined Luxembourg’s Defence Minister, Yuriko Backes, and other experts to exchange on Europe’s security and defence, just as we signed new financing for the company Indra research and development centre in the sectors of defence and space.
An important financing agreement was signed for water, healthcare, education and women’s inclusion in Armenia.
Our EIB and EIF Boards approved over €15 billion of new financing for transport, energy and housing, including 10,000 affordable homes in Portugal, as well as the new Water Resilience Programme.
We announced financing for female entrepreneurship in Italy and food security in the Netherlands.
And finally, it was a great pleasure to welcome to our headquarters our fellow Luxembourg based institutions. We are all working together for a strong, stable, fair and effective Europe.
